The position being offered is a delivery driver role involving the operation of box trucks under 26,001 pounds. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotating Saturdays and the possibility of overtime based on business needs. This role requires making 10 to 20 deliveries per day to a variety of customer locations. Drivers are expected to uphold safety regulations while delivering on time under various weather conditions. Responsibilities include completing vehicle inspections, accurately maintaining delivery records, and handling products that range significantly in weight. An ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds is needed, along with the physical capacity to push up to 40 pounds, particularly when dealing with industrial or agricultural tires and barrels. Training on forklift and other powered industrial trucks will be provided as necessary.

The delivery driver role blends physical activity with customer interaction, requiring professionalism and effective communication skills. Drivers are also responsible for processing payments from customers and operating handheld devices to confirm deliveries. Beyond the individual daily tasks, this job demands flexibility in working hours, adherence to safety protocols, and readiness to assist with loading and unloading tasks.
