Job Description
U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is a well-established leader in the automotive supply industry with over 100 years of collective experience in distributing tires, undercarriage parts, and lubricants. This company plays a crucial role in serving a wide range of clients, including independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. Their deep roots in the industry and their significant operational experience allow them to maintain a reputation for reliable product delivery and customer satisfaction. U.S. AutoForce is committed to meeting the needs of its customers through efficient service, quality products, and professional operations.
The position being offered is a delivery driver role involving the operation of box trucks under 26,001 pounds. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotating Saturdays and the possibility of overtime based on business needs. This role requires making 10 to 20 deliveries per day to a variety of customer locations. Drivers are expected to uphold safety regulations while delivering on time under various weather conditions. Responsibilities include completing vehicle inspections, accurately maintaining delivery records, and handling products that range significantly in weight. An ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds is needed, along with the physical capacity to push up to 40 pounds, particularly when dealing with industrial or agricultural tires and barrels. Training on forklift and other powered industrial trucks will be provided as necessary.
The delivery driver role blends physical activity with customer interaction, requiring professionalism and effective communication skills. Drivers are also responsible for processing payments from customers and operating handheld devices to confirm deliveries. Beyond the individual daily tasks, this job demands flexibility in working hours, adherence to safety protocols, and readiness to assist with loading and unloading tasks. This position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $22.50, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare available from day one, a 401(k) plan with generous employer contribution and matching, paid vacation, sick time, holidays, performance bonuses, and tuition reimbursement. Additionally, the company supports professional growth through on-the-job training and skill development and provides an employee discount program.
Working at U.S. AutoForce means joining a company that values safety and inclusivity. Protective equipment like steel or composite toe boots, safety vests, harnesses, and self-retracting lifelines are provided to ensure employee safety. The work environment is subject to typical outdoor weather conditions and may involve exposure to moderate noise levels and fumes related to automotive products. Applicants must meet age and licensing requirements, pass road and drug tests, and adhere to DOT/FMCSA medical guidelines. U.S. Venture, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusion and diversity, ensuring equal opportunity regardless of race, color, religion, gender identity or expression, and other protected characteristics. This role does not offer sponsorship for employment visas, and all candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
