Job Description
U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is a prominent industry leader with over 100 years of combined experience in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants. The company services a wide-reaching network of independent tire retailers, automotive repair shops, and dealerships, offering reliable and timely product deliveries that support automotive businesses’ operational efficiency. Part of the broader U.S. Venture portfolio, U.S. AutoForce is committed to sustainability, safety, and excellence in logistics. Its mission centers around providing outstanding customer service paired with quality products to meet the evolving demands of the automotive aftermarket industry. The organization fosters a culture based on respect, diversity, and inclusion, making it a notable employer within the industry.
The role of a Delivery Driver at U.S. AutoForce is a pivotal position designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and want to be part of a company that values safety and customer satisfaction. This full-time position typically operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotating half-day Saturdays and the possibility of overtime depending on business needs. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating box trucks (under 26,001 pounds) or similar vehicles, making about 10 to 20 deliveries a day to a variety of customers including tire retailers and service stations. Drivers must maintain accurate logs such as driver’s records and fuel purchase records to comply with company policies and legal regulations.
In addition to driving, the role requires performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance. Physical demands are substantial, with frequent lifting of products weighing up to 50 pounds and occasional lifts up to 80 pounds. Team lifting or mechanical equipment use, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, often accompanies handling larger or heavier items. Drivers must demonstrate effective communication skills to interact with customers, coworkers, and management, ensuring payment collection upon delivery and adhering strictly to safety protocols and operational instructions.
This position offers not only competitive compensation starting at $19 per hour but also a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare accessible from the first day, a 401(k) plan with generous employer contributions and matching, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, tuition reimbursement, and various employee discount programs. The company emphasizes on-the-job training and skill development, earmarked towards fostering employee growth and safety excellence. Drivers operate in varying weather conditions and must be adaptable to environmental challenges while maintaining punctual and courteous service.
U.S. AutoForce champions workforce diversity and strictly adheres to equal opportunity employment standards. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have a minimum of one year professional driving experience with relevant vehicles, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, and either have or be able to obtain a valid DOT medical card. This role demands individuals capable of working safely, efficiently, and who take pride in contributing to a reputable company recognized for leadership in automotive distribution.
