U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is a prominent leader in the automotive distribution industry, offering over a century of combined experience. This well-established company specializes in providing tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to a broad customer base that includes independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. U.S. AutoForce’s reputation is built on delivering high-quality products efficiently and reliably, with a commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. As part of U.S. Venture, Inc., a company known for its integrity, innovation, and community involvement, U.S. AutoForce continues to expand its reach and improve its services thanks to its dedicated workforce and strong industry presence.
The Delivery Driver position at U.S. AutoForce is crucial for maintaining the company’s reliability and service quality. This role involves driving a box truck or similar vehicles to deliver automotive products to customer locations safely and punctually. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with additional rotating half-day Saturdays based on business demands. Completion of all deliveries may require overtime, reflecting the company’s dedication to meeting client needs in a timely manner. Delivery drivers can expect to make between 10 to 20 deliveries per day, managing a range of automotive products including tires and lubricants.
This role demands a high level of physical activity and responsibility. Drivers are required to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs and records, and ensure safe handling and delivery of products in various weather conditions. There is a physical requirement to lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds, especially when dealing with larger tires or heavier equipment. Team lifting and the use of mechanical aids like forklifts or pallet jacks are often necessary to avoid injury and maintain efficiency. The role also involves direct interaction with customers, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to collect payments when necessary. Drivers operate handheld devices provided by the company to track deliveries and ensure accuracy. Safety is paramount, with strict adherence to company policies and DOT regulations including the maintenance of a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and possession of a DOT Medical Card.
U.S. AutoForce provides a supportive and dynamic work environment with a strong emphasis on safety, training, and employee well-being. The company offers a competitive wage starting at $20 per hour, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare available from day one, a 401(k) plan with generous employer contributions and matching, paid vacation and holidays, and opportunities for skill development and tuition reimbursement. Employees are also recognized through safety driving programs and benefit from discounts and work boot reimbursement, underscoring the company’s investment in their health and professional growth.
Working conditions include exposure to typical weather environments encountered during deliveries and moderate noise levels. Protective equipment such as steel or composite toe boots, safety vests, harnesses, and seat belts are provided or required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. U.S. AutoForce is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in its hiring practices, offering equal opportunity to all candidates. The company requires applicants to be authorized to work full-time in the United States without sponsorship and adheres to strict policies regarding employment eligibility and recruitment processes. This delivery driver role offers a stable career path for individuals seeking meaningful employment in the automotive distribution sector with a company that values safety, reliability, and employee development.
