Established with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and quality products, the company has grown into a cornerstone supplier for businesses across the country. American Tire Distributors specializes in providing a broad range of tire and automotive-related products to retailers and service centers, making it a vital partner in the automotive supply chain. The company prides itself on a culture of collaboration, innovation, and dedication, striving to empower employees and foster a supportive work environment. With a reputation built on reliability and customer satisfaction, American Tire Distributors is committed to maintaining high standards in service delivery and operational excellence.
The role of Delivery Driver (non-CDL) at American Tire Distributors is a critical position focused on the timely and professional delivery of products to customers. This role involves the transportation of goods from origin to customer locations, ensuring that deliveries are accurate, on time, and conducted with the highest level of professionalism. The Delivery Driver is responsible for unloading and staging products upon arrival, verifying items for correctness, and handling customer payments where applicable. Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times, the driver acts as a direct representative of the company, establishing and strengthening customer relationships through excellent service.
This position offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and requires adherence to strict safety and regulatory standards. The successful candidate must be familiar with company safety policies as well as federal and state transportation regulations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records such as driver logs and fuel purchases, managing all necessary delivery documentation, and occasionally operating powered industrial vehicles like forklifts and pallet jacks. This role demands a proactive and action-oriented individual capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining clear and effective communication with customers and team members.
The Delivery Driver position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, navigate various physical environments, and work in diverse weather conditions. The role involves significant travel, with the driver spending approximately 75 percent of their time on the road, though no overnight stays are required for this non-CDL role. Candidates who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to maintaining safety, accuracy, and excellent customer service will find this role rewarding. Joining American Tire Distributors means becoming part of a team that values each member's contribution and encourages career growth within a company dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about logistics, customer service, and working as part of a mission-driven team.
