The role of a Delivery Driver with U.S. AutoForce is a crucial position within the company's operations. This is a full-time employment opportunity with a competitive starting wage of $21.50 per hour, featuring a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with rotating Saturdays. The position may require overtime hours based on business demands. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for operating box trucks under 26,001 pounds to make 10-20 deliveries per day. This role demands a commitment to safety, punctuality, and effective communication with customers and team members.

Your duties will include completing accurate logs and records to comply with company policies and legal regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and assisting with loading and unloading freight. Physical stamina is important, as you will regularly lift weights up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 80 pounds with mechanical assistance or team lifts. Tasks also involve exerting pushing force when handling heavier industrial materials. The use of powered industrial trucks like forklifts and pallet jacks will be part of the job, necessitating proper training and safety adherence.

In this dynamic role, you will engage directly with customers by collecting payments and ensuring their deliveries meet expectations. You will be equipped with handheld devices to track and confirm delivery completion efficiently. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, moderate noise levels, and occasional fumes associated with automotive products, requiring the consistent use of safety equipment such as steel-toe boots, safety vests, harnesses, and seatbelts provided by the company.
