Job Description

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is a leading company in the automotive distribution industry, bringing together over 100 years of combined experience. Specializing in the distribution of tires, undercarriage parts, and lubricants, U.S. AutoForce serves a vast network of independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships across the United States. Known for its commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, U.S. AutoForce has established itself as a trusted partner in the automotive aftermarket sector. The company's expansive expertise and dedication to innovation enable it to meet the diverse needs of its customers, ensuring timely delivery of essential automotive products that help keep vehicles running efficiently and safely.

The role of a Delivery Driver with U.S. AutoForce is a crucial position within the company's operations. This is a full-time employment opportunity with a competitive starting wage of $21.50 per hour, featuring a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with rotating Saturdays. The position may require overtime hours based on business demands. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for operating box trucks under 26,001 pounds to make 10-20 deliveries per day. This role demands a commitment to safety, punctuality, and effective communication with customers and team members.

Your duties will include completing accurate logs and records to comply with company policies and legal regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and assisting with loading and unloading freight. Physical stamina is important, as you will regularly lift weights up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 80 pounds with mechanical assistance or team lifts. Tasks also involve exerting pushing force when handling heavier industrial materials. The use of powered industrial trucks like forklifts and pallet jacks will be part of the job, necessitating proper training and safety adherence.

In this dynamic role, you will engage directly with customers by collecting payments and ensuring their deliveries meet expectations. You will be equipped with handheld devices to track and confirm delivery completion efficiently. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, moderate noise levels, and occasional fumes associated with automotive products, requiring the consistent use of safety equipment such as steel-toe boots, safety vests, harnesses, and seatbelts provided by the company. U.S. AutoForce fosters a safe workplace with strict adherence to safety guidelines and encourages continuous skill development through on-the-job training and tuition reimbursement programs.

U.S. AutoForce is committed to diversity and equal opportunity employment, ensuring a supportive environment for all team members. This position requires candidates to be at least 21 years old, have professional driving experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles, and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Employees must also have the physical capability to perform job-related activities and meet DOT/FMSCA medical requirements. This opportunity offers a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare from the first day, a 401(k) plan with generous employer contributions and matching, paid vacation, sick time, holidays, and performance bonuses.

If you are a reliable vehicle operator with a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a physically demanding role, U.S. AutoForce invites you to apply for this rewarding career as a Delivery Driver. Join a reputable company where your efforts contribute directly to the satisfaction of customers and the smooth functioning of automotive supply chains across the nation.
