Job Description
U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is a leading distributor with over 100 years of combined industry experience in providing tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to a diverse client base which includes independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships across the United States. This well-established company is known for its commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction in the automotive supply industry. U.S. AutoForce is part of a larger corporate family, U.S. Venture, Inc., which brings both stability and innovation to the companies under its umbrella. The company prides itself on fostering an inclusive, diverse workplace culture that values integrity, teamwork, and professional growth among its employees.
This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with hours from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, plus rotating Saturdays or until deliveries are completed, with potential requirements for overtime based on business needs. The role of Delivery Driver for U.S. AutoForce focuses on the safe and timely transportation and delivery of automotive products, including tires and lubricants, in a box truck or similar vehicle under 26,001 pounds. Drivers play a critical role in managing daily delivery routes with 10 to 20 stops, ensuring customers receive their orders efficiently while adhering to company and legal standards.
Responsibilities extend beyond driving to include the maintenance of accurate delivery records such as driver logs and fuel purchase receipts, conducting safety inspections before and after trips, and assisting with loading and unloading heavy merchandise. Drivers must handle physical demands, consistently lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds, often utilizing team lifts or mechanical equipment like forklifts to maneuver heavy items safely. The role also involves communicating effectively with customers and team members, operating handheld devices for delivery confirmation, and collecting payments when necessary. Safety compliance and attention to detail are paramount, making this position suitable for professional drivers who prioritize reliability and customer service.
U.S. AutoForce offers competitive compensation starting at $22 per hour, with benefits that include weekly pay, healthcare from the first day, a work boot reimbursement program, quarterly performance bonuses, and a 401(k) plan featuring generous employer contributions and matching. Employees also benefit from paid vacation, sick time, holidays, tuition reimbursement, on-the-job training, skill development opportunities, and employee discount programs. This role supports an inclusive workplace and requires adherence to physical and safety standards, with the provision of necessary protective equipment except for steel or composite toe boots, which employees must supply.
Overall, this position is ideal for individuals with a valid driver's license and a strong safety record, who are physically capable and motivated to deliver excellent service in the automotive distribution sector. U.S. AutoForce values dedication, accountability, and the ability to work overtime when necessary, offering a stable, rewarding career path for the right candidate.
