Job Description

Founded in Denver in 1987, QED is a leading provider of high-quality electrical products and services across Arizona and Colorado. With over 500 associates spread across 18 branches, QED serves a diverse clientele that includes commercial and residential contractors, industrial facilities, and original equipment manufacturing (OEM) businesses. Over the years, QED has built a reputation for reliability, quality, and exceptional customer service. Their deep local roots complemented by a broad regional presence allow QED to offer tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer while maintaining exceptional standards.

QED values diversity and the individual contributions of each associate, viewing these elements as key drivers of its sustained success and leadership in the industry. The company invests in the development of its people, providing resources and a supportive environment where employees can realize their full potential. This commitment to its workforce fosters a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) role at QED is integral to maintaining these high standards by ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of products to customers. Delivery Drivers are responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading goods, planning routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency, and providing excellent customer service throughout the delivery process. This position requires a blend of physical endurance, attentiveness to safety and operational procedures, and strong interpersonal skills.

In this role, Delivery Drivers will engage in daily tasks that include verifying order accuracy, managing delivery documentation, and maintaining the cleanliness and mechanical condition of their vehicles. They are expected to comply with all traffic laws and company policies, handling any delivery challenges professionally and escalating unresolved issues to management. When not on routes, drivers also support warehouse operations by organizing inventory and assisting with order preparation.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in delivery driving or logistics, a clean driver’s license, and a familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns. Physical capability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds is required, along with strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role offers an opportunity to join a supportive, well-established company that values the safety, professionalism, and efficiency of its drivers, while contributing meaningfully to the customer experience and operational success of QED.
