The Delivery Driver (non-CDL) position at American Tire Distributors plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering products on time and representing the company professionally. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- 1-2 years of related delivery or transportation experience preferred
- Ability to lift products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles
- Familiarity with state and federal transportation regulations
- Capability to maintain accurate delivery and compliance records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time

Job Duties
- Abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations
- Assist in verification of all outgoing and incoming product for accuracy in terms of size, amount and type
- Collect payments from customers in monetary form acceptable to company
- Efficiently unload cargo and stage products at customer’s place of business
- Ensure all administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders is available and accompanies shipments
- Maintain professional representation of the company in all interactions and through responsible driving
- Maintain records required for compliance including driver’s logs, fuel purchases, and mileage
- Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned
