Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older (must be 21+ in certain states to deliver alcohol)
- Have reliable access to a vehicle, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Provide a valid driver’s license number
- Supply a social security number (US only)
- Maintain consistent access to a smartphone capable of app usage
- Complete successful ID verification process
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Possess a valid driver’s license or authorization to operate a scooter or bicycle (where applicable)
- Have consistent access to a smartphone capable of running the Dasher app
- Ability to pass identity verification and eligibility requirements
- Knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns is preferred
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, and retail outlets
- Deliver orders promptly and courteously to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept orders and navigate routes
- Manage cash flow by utilizing same-day payment options
- Maintain reliable and consistent communication with customers and support staff
- Observe all traffic laws and safety guidelines while delivering
- Provide excellent customer service to build positive customer experiences
