The Delivery Driver role is pivotal to our operations, acting as the direct link between our warehouse and our valued clientele. This position requires a friendly and courteous individual who can work well within a team and maintain professionalism when interacting with customers. The driver is entrusted with delivering orders accurately and on time, picking up returns when necessary, and managing vehicle maintenance and safety protocols. This role demands a professional work ethic, great communication skills, and the ability to handle customer concerns tactfully. The ideal candidate will maintain a valid driving license with a clean driving record and follow all company policies and procedures at all times. Additionally, this role involves physical demands such as lifting and prolonged sitting, requiring good physical stamina. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report must be obtained by applicant and submitted for approval prior to hire date and satisfactory MVR must be maintained
  • successfully complete a pre-employment drug test

  • ability to use resourcefulness and tact in meeting new problems

Job Duties

  • Deliver orders accurately to customers via driving a vehicle
  • pick up cores and returns from customers, and properly and accurately process credits for customers
  • handle and or report customer problems to the Store or Warehouse Manager
  • must report to work in a continuous timely manner
  • provide basic vehicle care and maintenance
  • maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record which meets underwriting standards
  • responsible for meeting all criteria and policies as set forth in the Company Employee Handbook, Driver’s Handbook, and Fleet Safety Policy
  • assists in special projects as requested
