The role of Store Team Member, internally titled as Merchandiser, is pivotal within the Total Wine & More retail environment. As a Store Team Member, you will be responsible for maximizing product inventory through activities such as processing freight, organizing and distributing stock, building attractive displays, placing signage, and assisting with the in-store and curbside business operations. This position not only focuses on merchandising but also includes potential sales responsibilities, front-end customer service duties, and support related to digital business operations such as fulfilling online orders and assisting with delivery services. This could include driving and delivering orders in a professional and safe manner, adhering strictly to company policies and all relevant traffic and safety laws.

Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of experience with 1 plus years in a retail setting preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires including evenings and weekends
- Walk bend down repeatedly and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to safely lift load and handle cases and pallets
- Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs overhead and repeatedly
- May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of experience with 1 plus years in a retail setting preferred

Job Duties
- Maximize product inventory including processing freight organizing and distributing inventory pulling and stocking merchandise building displays and end caps placing signage supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services including driving and making deliveries if assigned
- Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers engaging to build relationships and informing about products and services
- Participate in wine spirits and beer training to build product knowledge
- Maintain knowledge of advertisements promotions and loyalty programs
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment
- Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned
- Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws if delivery is added as an essential job function
