We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is critical to ensuring the safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to our patients, including setups and patient education on proper equipment use. As a Delivery Driver at Lincare, incumbents will follow complete patient orientation checklists, adhere to assigned routes and schedules, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and warehouses in compliance with FDA protocols. The driver will also be responsible for inspecting and maintaining a company-provided delivery vehicle to ensure safety during loading and unloading.

This position offers competitive pay ranging from $16 to $23 per hour, with additional benefits such as quarterly safety bonuses and increased compensation for on-call duties. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • minimum one year experience in a professional driving role or equivalent position
  • valid driver’s license for the appropriate class of vehicle
  • must be able to lift 50 or more pounds independently
  • must meet all physical requirements related to DOT and FMCSA regulations
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and transportation laws
  • ability to work on-call shifts including evenings and weekends
  • must maintain a safe driving record
  • must be at least 18 years old (non-CDL drivers) or 21 years old (CDL drivers)
  • basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • minimum one year experience in professional driving role or equivalent position
  • knowledge of home care or health care environment is a plus
  • good interpersonal and communication skills including speaking and writing
  • valid driver’s license for the appropriate class of vehicle
  • ability to read and understand DOT and FDA paperwork
  • strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • basic computer knowledge
  • ability to lift 50+ pounds unassisted and heavier weights with assistance
  • physical capability including maneuvering in restricted spaces and performing actions such as straight pulling, hand over hand pulling, reaching above shoulder, fine finger manipulation, and repeated bending
  • ability to use hands, legs, and eyes simultaneously for vehicle operation
  • good depth perception
  • ability to lift up to 15 pounds above shoulder while loading and unloading

Job Duties
