We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients, along with providing necessary equipment setup and patient education on proper usage. The Delivery Driver position entails adherence to assigned routes and schedules, inspection and maintenance of delivery vehicles, and strict compliance with transportation laws to maintain a safe driving record. A significant part of the role involves building positive relationships with patients and internal colleagues, maintaining vehicle cleanliness in compliance with FDA protocols, and participating in on-call rotations for emergency response. This full-time position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of professional driving experience. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, strong customer service aptitude, the ability to lift heavy equipment, and demonstrate critical thinking and alertness throughout the workday. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- minimum one year of experience in professional driving role or equivalent position
- valid driver’s license required
- must meet all physical requirements related to DOT and FMCSA regulations
- non CDL drivers can be 18 or older
- CDL drivers are required to be 21 or older
- must be good with people with excellent speaking and writing skills
- must maintain a valid driver’s license for appropriate class of vehicle driven while employed
- convey a positive and professional image to customers and employees
- read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork
- critically think, make decisions, and be mentally alert
- strong customer service skills
- basic computer knowledge
- ability to lift 50+ pounds independently
- ability to lift excess of 50 pounds with mechanical or employee assistance
- ability to maneuver often in restricted spaces
- ability to perform physical actions such as straight pulling, pulling hand over hand, reaching above the shoulder, use of fingers/fine manipulation, and repeated bending
- utilize hands, legs, and eyes for operating vehicle
- use depth perception
- lift up to 15 pounds above the shoulder during loading and unloading

Job Duties
- Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
- adhere to assigned routes and schedules
- abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during the loading and unloading process
- establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members
- maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols
- work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies in accordance with company and local policies
