Lincare is currently seeking motivated Delivery Drivers to join their growing team. This role is essential to the company’s mission of providing excellent home healthcare, as Delivery Drivers are responsible for safely transporting critical medical equipment to patients' homes. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $18.66 to $23, emphasizing competitive compensation alongside an encouraging workplace environment. Delivery Drivers at Lincare play an integral role in ensuring patients receive their medical supplies promptly and in proper working condition. In addition to delivering equipment, Delivery Drivers are expected to follow comprehensive patient orientation checklists during each delivery. Drivers must strictly adhere to assigned routes and schedules while complying with all transportation laws to maintain a safe driving record. Vehicle safety is critical in this role, requiring inspection and maintenance of company-provided delivery vehicles, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization following FDA protocols to ensure compliance and safety.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum one year of professional driving experience
- valid driver’s license
- ability to lift 50 plus pounds alone
- ability to lift more than 50 pounds with assistance
- good communication skills
- must meet all physical requirements related to DOT and FMCSA regulations
- ability to work on-call rotation including evenings and weekends
- knowledge of transportation laws
- must be 18 or older for non-CDL drivers
- must be 21 or older for CDL drivers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- minimum one year of experience in a professional driving role or equivalent position
- home care or health care background is a plus
- excellent speaking and writing skills
- ability to read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork
- strong customer service skills
- basic computer knowledge
- must maintain a valid driver’s license for appropriate class of vehicle driven
- ability to lift over 50 pounds with or without assistance
- ability to maneuver in restricted spaces
- ability to perform physical activities such as straight pulling, hand-over-hand pulling, reaching above the shoulder, fine manipulation with fingers, repeated bending
- mental alertness and critical thinking skills
Job Duties
- Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
- adhere to assigned routes and schedules
- abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle ensuring safety during loading and unloading
- establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members
- maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse adhering to all FDA protocols
- work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies in accordance with company and local policies
