Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
- must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or alien authorized to work in the U.S.
- knowledge of temperature-controlled shipping preferred
- strong attention to detail
- valid driver’s license
- ability to operate vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations
- good communication skills
- willingness to perform varied operational support tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school education or GED
- one year of professional delivery driving experience
- experience in courier or freight industry preferred
Job Duties
- Review the Cargo Receiving Log daily
- deliver and recover shipments to and from the airport
- ensure vehicle security when waiting to tender cargo or during client site pickups
- check Airway Bills for accuracy
- review shipment documentation, labeling, and markings
- prepare Next Flight Out (NFO) shipments
- replenish dry ice weight and gel packs for temperature-sensitive shipments
- scan, package, label inbound shipments before final domestic or international tendering
- maintain vehicle log updates including mileage and TSA compliance inspection
- perform other duties to support the Operations Team
