Job Description
Logiscal is a specialized routed delivery service provider dedicated to supporting meal delivery programs, including well-known brands like Piece Meals. Operating as an integral part of the food delivery ecosystem, Logiscal partners with independent contractor drivers to facilitate scheduled delivery routes, ensuring healthy, chef-crafted meals reach customers promptly and in excellent condition. As a company focused on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, Logiscal utilizes technology-driven solutions and a structured approach to streamline delivery workflow and foster consistent, reliable service.
As a contractor driver with Logiscal, you will not only play a pivotal role in the last-mile delivery chain but also enjoy the freedom of flexible scheduling and the convenience of a predictable, routinized delivery experience. Your primary responsibility will be to pick up pre-packed, freshly prepared meals from kitchen hubs and deliver them to customers without the unpredictability of on-demand orders. This structured model supports drivers by providing schedules in advance, optimized routes with multiple stops (averaging about 15 delivery locations per route), and a defined delivery window, which collectively enhance route efficiency and driver satisfaction.
Logiscal’s delivery program is designed with both the driver and customer experience in mind. New drivers receive direct assistance from a lead driver on their first pickup to ensure a smooth onboarding process. This hands-on training establishes a strong foundation for success, enabling drivers to confidently manage their routes independently moving forward. The company partners with Gigee, a comprehensive platform that manages driver onboarding, compliance verification, payment processing through Everee, and real-time communication with dispatch. This centralized system simplifies administrative tasks and payment tracking, allowing you to focus on the driving and delivery itself.
The contractor role is ideal for self-employed individuals who value flexibility and want to maintain control over their work schedule. You can choose which routes to accept based on availability and your personal preferences, offering a balanced approach to work-life integration. Routes typically run on Sunday evenings, with pickups scheduled between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM, and detailed route assignments communicated a few days in advance. The job requires the use of your own vehicle and compliance with all safety and delivery standards.
Logiscal stands out in the delivery sector by offering predictable, routed delivery opportunities without the delays often associated with on-demand restaurant orders. This results in efficient, stress-reducing workflows for drivers. Additionally, the company’s focus on routed meal delivery supports community health initiatives by providing customers with access to fresh, chef-made meals. By joining Logiscal as a delivery partner, you become part of a forward-thinking food delivery network that values professionalism, reliability, and driver empowerment.
Compensation for this contract position ranges from $150 to $180 per day, reflecting the responsibility and effort required for timely and accurate meal delivery. The route structure, combined with supportive onboarding and the use of advanced technology, provides drivers with a rewarding and professional delivery experience. Whether you are looking to supplement your income or build a sustainable independent driving career, Logiscal offers a role that prioritizes your independence while delivering broad community impact.
