Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Minimum one year experience driving heavy-duty truck or large van
- Valid state driver’s license
- Valid DOT medical card
- Ability to read and follow maps or written directions
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects generally over 100 lbs
- Ability to drive under various weather conditions
- Ability to adhere to attendance requirements
- Ability to communicate in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- One year experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Knowledge of the assigned geographical area
- Ability to organize and schedule routes for efficiency
- Ability to work well with diverse personalities
- Valid state driver’s license
- Valid DOT medical card
Job Duties
- Operate delivery vehicle within state and federal statutes and guidelines
- Read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public
- Acquire pick-up tickets and complete routes efficiently
- Load donations in an organized manner to maximize pickups and minimize damage
- Clean and secure the vehicle and equipment daily
- Conduct vehicle inspections including oil, water, tires, and general condition
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
