This role is a Delivery Driver position based at Sherwin-Williams Store #1667 located in Orem, Utah. The primary responsibility is to deliver products from the store to customers using box and flat-bed trucks. This job requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure that deliveries are complete, accurately packed, and safely transported to the correct recipient. The driver acts as a key representative of Sherwin-Williams by maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service. In addition to handling deliveries, the role entails performing essential warehouse functions such as preparing orders, loading items, and assisting with store duties such as tinting and mixing paint. This multifaceted position demands a strong work ethic, physical stamina to lift heavy materials, and adherence to safety and transportation regulations.
Candidates selected for this role will be subject to a criminal background check to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and the community. Professionalism and integrity are vital as the job involves handling valuable merchandise, interacting with customers (including minors), and managing cash or electronic payments. Drivers must maintain the assigned delivery schedule, follow designated routes, and uphold a safe driving record in compliance with transportation laws. The position requires valid driver credentials including a valid driver’s license and Medical Examiner’s Certificate. Physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds and the willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are essential.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a Department of Transportation (DOT) licensed medical examiner or be willing to obtain one within five business days of receiving a conditional offer of employment
- Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signs, respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records
Job Qualifications

- Preferred to have a high school diploma or GED
- Preferred to have at least one year of delivery driver experience
- Preferred to have experience using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks
- Preferred to have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Preferred ability to communicate in more than one language, especially Spanish
Job Duties
- Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner
- Load customer orders properly on the truck
- Ensure appropriate forms are completed
- Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
- Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
- Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting, mixing customer orders and waiting on customers
