CORT is currently seeking full-time non-CDL Delivery Drivers for its St. Charles, Missouri location. This role is an integral part of the Operations team and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving, have a knack for customer service, and take pride in delivering a high-quality experience. The role involves operating a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate, safely delivering and assembling furniture in customers' homes or offices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, physical stamina, and a customer-first attitude.

Delivery Drivers at CORT begin their day at the warehouse, engaging in route reviews, safety briefings, and team meetings to ensure smooth and safe operations. The position offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $21 to $25 per hour, dependent on experience. The typical schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional Saturdays and opportunities for overtime based on operational needs. Drivers not only deliver and install furniture but also collaborate with warehouse staff by assisting with loading and unloading as necessary.

This role demands a driver who is prepared to work in various weather conditions, capable of lifting over 100 pounds with assistance, and able to navigate indoor and outdoor environments including staircases. Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations is mandatory, including maintaining a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate and passing a road test in line with FMCSA and CORT standards. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle record, and be fluent in English for effective communication and adherence to safety protocols.
