The Delivery Driver role at Omnicare Pharmacy, a CVS Health company, is a crucial part of the patient care process. This full-time position typically involves a 30-hour workweek with scheduled runs departing at 1 pm and 8 pm Monday through Friday, and at 5 pm on Saturday. Delivery Drivers use company-provided vehicles to deliver prescription orders and related products to customers on predetermined routes and schedules. These drivers help ensure timely, safe, and accurate delivery of medication and supplies to long-term care facilities or patients' homes. This role demands a strong commitment to patient confidentiality, compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, and upholding the highest professional and ethical standards. Although professional driving experience is not a must, the company encourages applicants with backgrounds as limo drivers, taxi/bus drivers, couriers, or gig-economy workers to apply. CVS Health values diversity and inclusivity, offering competitive pay ranging from $16.00 to $23.56 per hour based on experience, education, and geography. The company also provides an extensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and more. Employees benefit from paid training, employee discounts, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for fast-track career progression with university partners. CVS Health places a strong emphasis on safety and quality, ensuring that all medication needs and regulatory standards are met, and that patient confidentiality is rigorously maintained.
