Job Description

CVS Health is a leading health solutions company dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities. With a commitment to innovation, accountability, and compassionate care, CVS Health strives to simplify healthcare delivery for every person, family, and community it serves. The company is widely recognized for its comprehensive healthcare services, including retail pharmacies, pharmacy benefit management, and long-term care services through Omnicare Pharmacy. CVS Health fosters a collaborative work environment where employees are encouraged to grow their careers and make a meaningful impact on patient care. Providing competitive salaries, a robust benefits package, and opportunities for professional development, CVS Health supports its workforce every step of the way.

The Delivery Driver role at Omnicare Pharmacy, a part of CVS Health, is an essential position focused on delivering prescription orders and related products to patients and long-term care facilities efficiently and safely. This full-time position typically requires 40 hours per week, offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $23.56 depending on experience and location. Delivery Drivers operate company-provided vehicles to fulfill delivery routes, ensuring all medication and equipment reach their destinations timely while adhering to strict regulatory and ethical standards. Alongside driving responsibilities, employees maintain vehicle upkeep and support pharmacy operations by managing assigned workstations to help expedite prescription processing and maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.

This role is well-suited for individuals with a customer service mindset, geographical knowledge of their service area, and the flexibility to work nights and weekends. The position also emphasizes physical endurance, requiring the ability to sit or stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and maintain visual and auditory acuity necessary for safe driving and workplace tasks. Employees benefit from a supportive team environment that values ethical conduct and professional development, including paid training, tuition reimbursement, and access to educational partnerships. This career path provides a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the health and safety of the community while advancing one's professional skills with a respected industry leader.
