Delivery Driver (FedEx Ground)

We are a privately owned company contracted with FedEx Corp to deliver and pick up packages out of the Huntsville, AL FedEx Ground Terminal. We are currently seeking dedicated and hardworking Delivery Drivers to join our team. This role involves physically demanding work and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. No commercial delivery driving experience is required, making it a great opportunity for individuals who are eager to start a career in delivery services or those looking for a steady, active job. Delivery drivers in our company receive comprehensive training, competitive pay, and excellent benefits. The pay scale ranges from $165 to $180 per day based on experience and productivity, with training pay set at $140 per day. Drivers will be paid weekly via direct deposit and have access to health and dental insurance plans, a 401K investment opportunity after one year, and uniforms provided by the company.

As a Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include inspecting delivery vehicles such as Sprinter vans or 26-foot box trucks, loading and sorting packages according to the daily assigned route, and safely completing 110 to 170 delivery stops with 200 to 500 packages each day. This position requires a reliable individual capable of managing heavy packages up to 150 lbs with the assistance of a hand truck. A valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test, as well as fluency in English for communication purposes, are essential. You will use a smartphone for GPS navigation and job communications throughout your shift.
