The Delivery Driver position at SouthernCarlson is a full-time role based in Stockton, California, offering a competitive hourly wage of $22.00 to $23.00. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, daytime hours, providing consistent and predictable work-life balance without weekend shifts. This role is fundamental to ensuring SouthernCarlson’s promise of fanatical customer service and timely deliveries. The Delivery Driver will operate a Class C flatbed vehicle to transport tools, fasteners, and materials to a variety of customers including job sites, warehouses, and residential locations. Beyond driving duties, this role involves direct interaction with customers, requiring a professional and customer-first approach at every delivery point. The Delivery Driver also supports warehouse operations including picking, staging, receiving, stocking, and loading, making it a dynamic position that combines physical activity with customer service responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly
  • Security clearance to make deliveries on naval bases
  • 1+ year of delivery experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Forklift experience preferred (training available)

  • Safely operate a Class C flatbed vehicle

  • Report vehicle, delivery, or route issues promptly
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
