Job Description

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is a well-established leader in the automotive distribution industry, bringing over 100 years of collective experience. The company specializes in distributing tires, undercarriage parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, automotive repair shops, and dealership service departments across the United States. U.S. AutoForce is committed to delivering exceptional products and services, leveraging decades of industry knowledge and operational excellence to maintain a strong presence in the automotive supply chain market. As part of U.S. Venture, Inc., the company upholds a commitment to innovation, safety, and professional development for its employees, creating a workplace culture centered around quality and reliability.

This position as a Commercial Driver within U.S. AutoForce involves a critical role in the distribution network, ensuring timely and safe delivery of automotive products to customers. The role follows a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, starting as early as 6:30 AM and ending at 3:00 PM or upon completion of all assigned deliveries, including rotating Saturdays. The role may require overtime based on business demands, emphasizing the need for flexibility. Drivers will operate box trucks or semi-trucks across various routes, managing between 10 to 20 deliveries per day to independent tire retailers, automotive repair shops, and dealerships.

In this position, the commercial driver is expected to maintain detailed and accurate documentation, including driver logs and fuel purchase records, abiding by company policies and legal regulations. Safety is paramount, and drivers must conduct both pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring equipment is in compliance with all safety standards and regulations. The physical demands of the job include regularly lifting commercial tires weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds, with mechanical equipment or team lifts used to facilitate heavier loads. Additionally, drivers may need to exert pushing forces on industrial or agricultural tires, and occasionally assist in loading and unloading cargo using specialized equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

The role requires the use of handheld electronic devices to track deliveries and maintain communication with customers, coworkers, and management. Collecting payments upon delivery is part of the job duties, underscoring the importance of customer service skills, clear communication, and professionalism. The position demands a commitment to working an 8 to 12-hour shift on average, including occasional overtime. Safety gear such as steel or composite toe boots, safety vests, harnesses, and seat belts are mandatory, with the company providing all necessary safety equipment except footwear.

U.S. AutoForce offers competitive compensation starting at $26.00 per hour, supported by weekly paychecks and a performance-based bonus program. Employees benefit from comprehensive healthcare coverage available from the first day of employment, 401(k) savings plans with employer matching contributions, and paid time off encompassing vacation, sick leave, and holidays. Additional perks include tuition reimbursement, employee discount programs, and opportunities for on-the-job training and skill development. The company values its diverse workforce and is dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities without discrimination. The role requires the applicant to be at least 23 years old, possess a Commercial Driver's License Class A, have a clean driving record, and a minimum of two years of commercial driving experience. U.S. Venture does not offer visa sponsorship; therefore, applicants must be authorized to work legally in the United States.
