This particular role is a crucial one within Core-Mark's logistics and supply chain operations—Food and Food Service Delivery Driver based in Farmingdale, New York, primarily delivering to Long Island. This position is vital to the continuity of the nation’s food supply chain, ensuring that products arrive punctually and intact while embodying the company’s customer service values. Delivery Drivers in this role operate tractor trailers or straight trucks on various routes, including local, interstate, shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop deliveries. The work schedule involves five days a week with early morning start times between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m., and importantly, drivers return home every night.

Beyond the driving duties, the role requires being the face of Core-Mark to customers, forging and maintaining lasting relationships through professionalism, communication, and reliability. Drivers uphold rigorous safety checks, comply with Department of Transportation regulations, and perform necessary inspections to ensure vehicles meet company standards.
