The role of a US FOODS Delivery Truck Driver is vital to the company's operational success and customer satisfaction. As a Delivery Truck Driver, you will be the face of US FOODS, making timely deliveries of a wide variety of foodservice products to customer drop-off locations. This position involves more than just driving; it requires excellent customer service skills, physical stamina for repeated heavy lifting up to 80 pounds, and the ability to manage multiple stops efficiently during a shift. You will be responsible for unloading products using hand trucks, verifying deliveries with customers, and occasionally handling cash or check payments. This job promises stable work hours with local routes, Monday through Friday schedules, allowing drivers to be home every night. The position offers a starting wage of $24.50 per hour plus incentive pay, with the potential to earn between $24 and $35 per hour based on experience, location, and skills. US FOODS also emphasizes safety and regulatory compliance, requiring drivers to hold a valid CDL A license, have DOT qualifications, and register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse database.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment and are committed to upholding the company’s core pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service excellence. Joining US FOODS as a Delivery Truck Driver means becoming part of a community that values integrity, reliability, and the opportunity to grow professionally within a leading foodservice distributor. Whether you're looking to build a long-term career or seeking a rewarding role with competitive compensation and benefits, US FOODS offers a compelling opportunity to achieve your professional and personal goals.
