Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record acceptable to the company
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen (no THC) as legally permissible
- Obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs and push/pull items weighing up to 400lbs with assistance
- Ability to maneuver up to 130lbs occasionally
- Wear safety composite shoes
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum one year of truck driving experience operating 16ft or longer straight trucks
- High volume package delivery experience
- Basic English communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to use technology including GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to work full-time hours with potential overtime
Job Duties
- Transport products safely to assigned delivery routes
- Load and unload products depending on volume
- Organize and load product for delivery using manifest ensuring efficient routing
- Provide customer support and accept product returns
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Use technology such as GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices
- Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle
