Job Requirements
- must have a valid drivers license with a safe driving record and remain eligible to drive a commercial motor vehicle under applicable laws
- ability to pass a dot physical and drug screen with no thc legally
- must obtain a 6-month dot medical card specific to the role
- ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift including overtime as needed
- ability to lift up to 70lbs and push or pull items up to 400lbs with equipment
- ability to occasionally maneuver up to 130lbs
- must wear safety composite shoes
- must be at least 21 years of age
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or ged or equivalent work experience
- minimum 1-year truck driving experience operating a 16ft or longer straight truck or comparable driving experience
- high volume package delivery experience
- basic english language skills both verbal and written communications
- ability to use technology including gps and mobile proof of delivery devices
Job Duties
- transport products safely and deliver office supplies on assigned route
- load truck depending on volume to ensure efficient deliveries
- ensure safe work practices and foster company safety culture
- organize and load products using manifest to optimize delivery route and schedule
- provide customer support and resolve delivery issues
- accept product returns from customers
- maintain cleanliness of vehicle including pre-trip inspections and reporting maintenance concerns
