Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen (no THC)
- must obtain 6-month DOT medical card
- basic English language skills both verbal and written
- full-time availability with ability to work additional overtime
- ability to lift up to 70lbs and maneuver heavy items with equipment
- must wear safety composite shoes
- must be at least 21 years of age
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- minimum 1-year truck driving experience operating a 16ft or longer straight truck or comparable driving experience
- high volume package delivery experience
- ability to navigate maps and different weather conditions
- ability to use GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices
- strong communication skills
- ability to build customer and colleague relationships
Job Duties
- Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on assigned route
- load truck depending on volume
- ensure safe work practices and foster safety culture
- organize and load product utilizing manifest for efficient delivery route
- provide customer support and accept product returns
- solve customer issues and enhance customer experience
- perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
