Job Duties
- Accurately packages the correct quantity of bread items for delivery
- Delivers pastry bins and bread items quickly and accurately to each location, ensuring each customer receives the correct product
- Ensures that the alarm is set and the building is securely locked upon leaving locations where employees are not yet present
- Drives safely, following all traffic laws
- Delivers paper invoices accurately to customers receiving them
- Prepares for the next day's Whole Foods deliveries by counting and labeling bags
- Shops for items as needed, unloads them at Dozen, and reports any maintenance or repair needs for the delivery van promptly to the manager
- Follows all food safety regulations at all times
- Communicates with pastry, bread, and management staff regarding questions, problems, or delays in daily wholesale orders
- Assists the wholesale manager with training new delivery drivers
- Interacts with customers and team members empathetically and respectfully
- Maintains good attendance and punctuality
- Demonstrates emotional intelligence and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
