Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must have 1+ years of box truck driving experience
  • Must qualify for corporate insurance programs including vehicle insurance
  • Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements
  • Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as DOT and FMCSA regulations
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to work in various physical conditions including cramped spaces and extreme temperatures

Job Qualifications

  • No degree required
  • 1+ years of box truck driving experience
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Proficient in basic math computations
  • Basic computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Capable of communicating effectively and maintaining simple records
  • Ability to work independently under supervision
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior warehouse operations experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Drive a company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents
  • Physically load company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest, and other paperwork associated with the deliveries
  • Drive to the delivery destination and physically unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signature of receiving location confirming the accuracy of parts received, and sign off on the loading integrity
  • Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers
  • Collect accounts receivable as necessary
  • Comply with established company policies, procedures, and annual training requirements
  • Operate in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pick up of products
  • Assume other duties as assigned
