Job Requirements
- CDL license required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience employed as a driver performing delivery functions
- Must possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate valid for a minimum of one year or the ability to obtain one
- Maintain a current/valid driver license from the state in which position is assigned
- Have no moving violations or suspensions during the past three (3) years (insurance requirement)
- Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
- Previous computer or handheld device experience
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug test according to company policy
- Ability to remain calm during tense or difficult situations
- Ability to act and react in a professional manner at all times with customers, co-workers, and management
Job Qualifications

- Clean driving record with no moving violations or suspensions in past 3 years

- Ability to remain calm in difficult situations
Job Duties
- Operate trucks and/or vans over local and intra-state roads and highways in a safe and efficient manner to deliver products to customers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and equipment
- Secure loads in between deliveries using load bars, straps, and bulkheads
- Unload products onto docks and transport them to customer storage using hand trucks or pallet jacks
- Assist customers with on-site product placement and display setup
- Report any order issues such as shortages, damage, or customer refusals to fleet and warehouse managers
- Maintain cleanliness of truck cab and box, removing personal items daily
- Plan daily routing based on assigned pick-ups and scheduled deliveries
- Develop and manage an assigned delivery route
- Conduct daily walk-around vehicle inspections to ensure good operating condition and report problems
- Ensure the security and safe operation of the vehicle and equipment
- Train new drivers on proper job functions
- Maintain professional and courteous behavior with customers at all times
- Wear uniform and maintain neat personal appearance
- Keep complete and accurate delivery records
- Verify receipt of correct orders with customers, obtain signatures and payment if necessary
- Provide delivery updates and feedback to transportation management
- Perform other duties as assigned
