This part-time or full-time position focuses on timely delivery of pizza and other menu items to both residential and commercial customers in the assigned delivery zone. Drivers are expected to perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety, handle payment transactions accurately, and communicate effectively with store management and dispatch for efficient routing. The delivery driver must maintain excellent customer service, especially during busy periods, to encourage repeat business through friendly and professional interactions. Drivers also assist with in-store tasks such as assembling pizza boxes, helping with order preparation, and maintaining clean and stocked workspaces.

Job Requirements

Be no less than eighteen years of age
Have two years driving experience
Possess a valid state driving license
Have use of a properly maintained, licensed and street-legal vehicle
Maintain minimal or higher insurance coverage as mandated by state law
Ability to pass Company Motor Vehicle Report and background checks
Possess a cell phone for calling customers
Be capable of reading maps, locating addresses and interpreting GPS directions
Navigate various terrains including multi-story buildings and private homes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superb ability to multitask
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Ability to adjust to changing priorities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly
Must be able to make correct monetary change

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid state driving license
Two years of driving experience
Ability to read maps and use GPS

Job Duties

Makes deliveries of pizza and other items to residential and commercial locations on assigned routes
Inspects vehicle before deliveries
Reviews deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
Maintains high standards of customer service during high-volume, fast-paced operations
Communicates clearly and positively with management and team members
Provides excellent customer service to encourage repeat customers, delivering professionally and promptly
Maintains ongoing communication with store and dispatcher to prioritize efficient routing
Handles currency and credit transactions quickly and accurately
Follows procedures for safe food preparation, assembly and presentation
Builds loyal customers through friendly interactions and consistent appreciation
Resolves complaints promptly and professionally
Takes initiative to find extra tasks when scheduled duties are complete
Assembles and folds boxes
Affixes labels and promotional materials as needed
Assists with prep
Reads order slips or receives verbal instructions to prepare order according to specifications, often making several different orders simultaneously
Cleans, stocks and restocks work stations and display cases
Adheres with all quality standards, principles, guidelines and policies
Performs other duties as assigned
