Job Requirements
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Experience operating a 16-ft box truck
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year delivery driving experience
- Ability to pass a driving test, background check, TB test, and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling requirements
- Ability to work early morning, flexible schedules, and varied shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and reliable
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience operating a 16' box truck or similar vehicle
- Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a driving test, background check, TB test, and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and documentation
- Ability to work early morning, flexible schedules, and varied shifts
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage assigned routes
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Job Duties
- Deliver meals and snacks to assigned school sites based on daily delivery plans and routes
- Verify daily routes and coordinate with dispatch regarding changes, delays, or road conditions
- Load, pack, and accurately count all orders before departure according to company specifications
- Safely operate a company delivery van/box truck on public roads
- Perform pre-trip inspections and complete daily truck checks, including fuel levels
- Maintain full operational control of the vehicle and exercise sound judgment while driving
- Inspect food items for quality and perform spot checks during loading, delivery, and unloading
