The role of Delivery Driver at Graybar is more than just delivering packages; it represents a career path filled with growth, stability, and rewarding experiences. Delivery drivers operate company vehicles—vans or trucks—primarily within local routes, which means no overnight trips or weekend work, allowing for a consistent work-life balance. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering predictability and time with family each evening.

As a Delivery Driver, responsibilities include selecting optimal routes to meet customer expectations, loading and unloading inventory using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, inspecting vehicles and supplies to maintain safety standards, documenting truck logs accurately, and delivering products with exceptional customer service. Safety is paramount in this role, and adherence to all vehicle operation regulations is required. Graybar provides a supportive environment where employees receive the necessary training and equipment to succeed, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
