Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- six months experience in distribution or warehouse environment
- valid State Drivers License
- familiarity with delivery area
- ability to meet DOT requirements including Medical Examiners Certification and Driver’s DOT qualification file
- ability to exert heavy physical effort regularly involving climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 100 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier
- ability to perceive colors, sounds, depth, and visual cues
- ability to communicate orally
- ability to work in adverse environmental conditions such as dirt, dust, temperature extremes, electric currents, or toxic agents
Job Qualifications

- ability to assemble, process and tabulate data
- ability to provide guidance and assistance to others
- ability to operate equipment and tools requiring complex adjustments
- strong verbal aptitude
- ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
- ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in repetitive or short cycle duties
Job Duties
- Drives truck in assigned zone to deliver products purchased by customers
- loads truck in preparation for daily deliveries
- unloads merchandise at customer location and sets up as necessary
- obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
- records deliveries on delivery record and submits to appropriate management
- monitors proper maintenance and regular inspection of vehicles
- performs general vehicle maintenance including recording fuel and fluid usage
- unloads merchandise from warehouse and freight trucks
- maintains cleanliness of store and warehouse interior and grounds
- places stock on shelves or racks and sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays
- assembles merchandise as required
- assists with repossessions of goods
- performs general maintenance and grounds keeping duties for warehouse and/or store
- performs customer service inspections and repairs as needed
- performs collection field calls to delinquent customers at the request of management
- upholds and promotes company's HOME values
