The ODP Group, including its entities ODP Business Solutions and Office Depot, is a premier provider of business services, office supplies, and technology solutions through an integrated business-to-business (B2B) distribution platform and an expansive omnichannel presence. With world-class supply chain and distribution operations, dedicated sales professionals, a vibrant online platform, and a network of over 1,300 retail locations including Office Depot and OfficeMax stores, the company serves millions of customers globally. Founded in 1986 with a single store in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, The ODP Group has grown into a multi-billion-dollar industry leader. The company is deeply committed to safety, operational excellence, and innovation, aiming to help customers be the best they can be and continuously challenge the status quo of "business as usual."
The Delivery Driver role at The ODP Group represents a critical component in the company's supply chain and customer satisfaction strategies. This position emphasizes timely and safe delivery of products to customer locations while upholding the highest standards of service quality. Delivery Drivers are responsible not only for the operation and care of delivery vehicles but also for securing and handling merchandise in a manner that ensures customers consistently receive clean, damage-free products. The role demands proficiency in delivering multiple routes, expertise in delivery procedures, and the capability to train other associates in delivery functions.
This full-time position requires individuals to demonstrate operational expertise, rigorously follow safety protocols, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN principles. The job involves performing daily vehicle inspections, managing route documentation, efficiently loading and unloading products, and effectively communicating customer feedback and delivery obstacles to supervisory and sales personnel. Delivery Drivers at The ODP Group also contribute innovative ideas to enhance delivery processes, reflecting the company’s commitment to operational excellence.
Suitable candidates for this role have a minimum of one to three years of relevant delivery experience with a valid CDL B or Class 3 license. Experience in route or box delivery driving, strong knowledge of local geography, and familiarity with power mobile equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts are preferred. Successful Delivery Drivers display excellent communication skills, are physically fit to handle heavy lifting and repetitive physical activities, and comply fully with safety guidelines and company policies. Bilingual abilities and experience with POD or tablet scanning devices add value.
The ODP Group offers competitive salaries and an attractive benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan, insurance coverage, paid time off, and career growth opportunities. Employees are supported within a safe and respectful work environment where diversity and equal opportunity employment practices are core values. Additionally, incentive programs reward outstanding performance aligned with the company’s goals.
In summary, working as a Delivery Driver at The ODP Group offers a robust career opportunity for individuals seeking a dynamic job in a well-established, forward-thinking organization dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of its customers. This role combines operational responsibility, safety adherence, customer interaction, and continuous process improvement to ensure that The ODP Group remains a leader in the business services and supply industry.
