The Delivery Driver role at The ODP Group is essential to the logistics and customer service functions of the business. Their duties extend beyond driving; they are responsible for handling the vehicle and its contents securely, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading merchandise carefully to prevent damage, and ensuring that all deliveries meet established goals for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

In addition to day-to-day delivery tasks, the Delivery Driver plays a critical role in documenting route information, completing necessary paperwork, and communicating any operational obstacles or customer feedback to supervisory and sales teams. The position also actively supports continuous improvement initiatives by contributing ideas that enhance delivery processes through LEAN practices, reflecting The ODP Group's commitment to operational excellence.

This role requires a high level of physical stamina and the ability to work under various weather conditions, as well as meeting physical demands such as lifting and carrying heavy loads, climbing in and out of delivery vehicles, and using manual pallet jacks. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record, and have the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification. The company highly values experience with delivery driving, familiarity with powered equipment, and proficiency in using technology such as scanners and GIS devices to track deliveries.

The Delivery Driver position is offered with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25.00 to $30.00, depending on location and compliance with state and local minimum wage laws.
