This position is for a US Foods Driver based in Buda, Texas. This role is crucial to the company’s operations, serving as the face of US Foods just as much as the products they deliver. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering foodservice products to customers, meeting scheduled delivery times while providing excellent customer service that enhances the client experience. The position typically involves working Monday through Friday with start times between 1:00 am and 3:00 am, and a workweek of 40 to 55 hours. A weekly guaranteed pay of $1,442.30 is offered, with compensation based on a component pay system after training that rewards performance related to miles, cases, and stops.

Drivers will be performing essential activities such as pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections, unloading products using appropriate equipment, verifying delivery accuracy, and handling collections when applicable. Physical demands are significant and include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 20 to 80+ pounds repetitively, as well as working outdoors in various weather conditions while making frequent stops.

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, hold a valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements, and have minimum commercial driving experience—three months in the food or beverage delivery industry or six months in any commercial driving capacity. Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is mandatory for all drivers to comply with Department of Transportation regulations.
