The US Foods Driver position is a vital role within this industry-leading company, designed for professional drivers who are passionate about safety, reliability, and customer service. This full-time position offers a schedule of four or five-day workweeks, with dispatch times varying from late night to early morning hours, between 9 PM and 5 AM. The expected base pay rate ranges from $39.50 to $43.50 per hour, with additional compensation available for overtime hours worked.

Drivers at US Foods are entrusted with safely transporting food products to customers and ensuring timely deliveries that meet the company’s high standards. Responsibilities include carefully unloading products using equipment like two-wheelers and pallet jacks, verifying delivery accuracy, obtaining customer signatures, and handling payments when needed. The role requires professional interaction with customers to maintain excellent service experiences, alongside performing all necessary pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery equipment to guarantee safety and compliance.

The physical demands of this role are significant, requiring the ability to lift and carry heavy loads ranging from 20 to over 80 pounds repeatedly throughout shifts. Drivers must also be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and capable of making frequent stops during their routes. US Foods seeks candidates who are at least 21 years old, hold a valid CDL Class A license with the required endorsements, and possess a minimum of six months commercial driving experience in any industry or three months within food or beverage delivery. Preference is given to those who can operate manual transmissions.

Job Duties

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
