The role of a US Foods CDL A Delivery Truck Driver is critical to maintaining the company’s reputation for reliability and exceptional customer service. This position comes with a starting pay of $33.62 per hour and includes a $15,000 retention bonus paid out over two years. Delivery Truck Drivers at US Foods are responsible for transporting a variety of products, including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer locations on scheduled routes. Drivers primarily operate local routes, allowing them to return home every night, with work shifts beginning between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday.

This role requires dedication to safe operations, timely deliveries, and excellent customer interactions. Drivers are expected to unload products using a hand truck, perform repeated heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds, and navigate various weather conditions.
