US Foods is currently seeking CDL-A Delivery Truck Drivers to join their team. Drivers start at a competitive training base rate of $33.43 per hour, progressing to a component-based pay structure that rewards mileage, cases delivered, and stops made, with guaranteed hourly pay for any downtime. This employment opportunity provides flexible route options including local and layover assignments, with driver tenure influencing route bidding and equipment assignments. Drivers operate well-maintained tractors and route trailers equipped with liftgates and powered pallet jacks, ensuring ease of product delivery. In this role, drivers perform essential pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, safely handle and deliver food products weighing between 20 to over 80 pounds repeatedly throughout their shifts, and work in all weather conditions with frequent stops. This position requires a valid CDL Class A license, registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, and a minimum age of 21. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid CDL Class A issued by state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Minimum six months commercial driving experience with preference for foodservice experience
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-80+ pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops
- Ability to understand and communicate in English
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A issued by state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum six months commercial driving experience, with one year of foodservice experience preferred
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

Job Duties
