Job Description

US Foods is one of the largest foodservice distributors in the United States, known for its commitment to quality products, excellent customer service, and continuous improvement. With a rich history and a strong company culture, US Foods offers extensive training programs and promotes from within, creating a supportive and growth-oriented environment for its employees. Based in St Louis at the Ambassador Blvd location, this role invites dedicated individuals to join a company that leads the foodservice industry with innovative solutions and a strong focus on employee success and satisfaction.

The position available is for a US Foods Driver, a critical role in ensuring timely delivery of food products to customers while upholding the company’s standards for safety and professionalism. This full-time role typically operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, with shifts starting between 6PM and 6AM. While some overnight travel is necessary—with hotel accommodations and per diem provided—the role offers a competitive starting hourly wage of $35.25, with the potential to earn up to $37 depending on experience and other factors. Drivers may also receive overtime compensation and performance-based incentives.

As a US Foods Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating trucks to deliver a variety of food products to customer locations, ensuring accuracy of deliveries, and providing exceptional service to enhance the client experience. The job also involves physically unloading products using equipment like pallet jacks or by hand, inspecting vehicle equipment before and after trips, and handling collections when applicable. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work, including lifting heavy products and operating under various weather conditions. Beyond the tangible duties, this role embodies the company’s cultural beliefs centered around integrity, reliability, and building strong customer relationships, making each delivery an opportunity to reinforce US Foods’ commitment to GREAT FOOD. MADE EASY(TM).
