The company emphasizes the value of its employees and fosters an inclusive, respectful workplace where every individual can thrive, grow, and contribute to the team’s success. Graybar's commitment to employee ownership reflects its dedication to shared growth and innovation in the evolving marketplace. The company prides itself on its supportive culture and offers a variety of benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and educational support to help employees succeed professionally and personally.

The Delivery Driver role at Graybar offers more than a job—it is a career opportunity with a predictable Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, allowing drivers to return home each night without the burden of overnight travel or weekend shifts. The starting pay rate for this position begins at $20.50 per hour, dependent on experience. In this role, you will serve as the face of Graybar by providing exceptional service during deliveries. You will be responsible for safely operating a Graybar truck or van, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers, and maintaining positive relationships by communicating feedback and promoting the company's products and services. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to conduct vehicle inspections, maintain proper truck logs, and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Working in this role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, and operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, all while using proper personal protective equipment (PPE). The role does not require a commercial driver’s license (CDL), but candidates must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical exam and commercial motor vehicle certification to ensure compliance and safety standards. Graybar values team members who are dedicated, reliable, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to the company’s ongoing success. Joining Graybar means becoming part of a collaborative team that values diversity, inclusion, and the unique contributions of each employee.
