This announcement is for the position of CDL A Delivery Truck Driver located at the US Foods Gulfport, Mississippi yard. The role offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $25.55 with potential to earn up to $30.55 based on experience, education, and skill level, in addition to incentive compensation. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday work schedule starting at 5:30 a.m., designed to have drivers home every night with local routes. As a US Foods Delivery Truck Driver, you will serve as a crucial representative of the company, responsible for delivering a variety of products including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to our customers. Your role will ensure products arrive punctually and safely at their drop-off sites while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Key responsibilities include unloading products, often in challenging weather conditions, handling manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds, and verifying delivery receipts with customers. You will also handle monetary transactions such as cash or check collections where necessary.

Successful candidates must be 21 years or older, hold a valid CDL A license issued by their state of residence including necessary endorsements, and be DOT qualified. A minimum of six months of commercial truck driving experience or three months of foodservice or beverage delivery experience is required. Job Duties

  • Deliver best-in-class customer service
