Job Description

MedTrans is a division of Medline Industries, LP, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of medical products. Medline is renowned for its commitment to delivering high-quality, life-saving medical supplies across the United States and beyond. MedTrans operates Medline's private fleet of professional drivers who specialize in delivering these critical products efficiently and safely to both commercial and residential customers nationwide. With a robust network comprising over 50 distribution centers and a fleet of more than 1,900 trucks equipped with the latest technology and safety features, MedTrans ensures reliable one-day shipping to 95 percent of the U.S. population. This commitment to excellence and speed has positioned MedTrans and Medline as trusted partners in the healthcare and medical supply industries, supporting hospitals, healthcare providers, and patients with timely deliveries of essential medical products.

The role of the Delivery Driver at MedTrans is pivotal to the company’s operations and customer satisfaction. The Delivery Driver is responsible for operating parcel vans and straight trucks to transport vital medical products from Medline facilities directly to local customer locations. This hands-on role demands a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and professionalism, as drivers serve as the company’s frontline representatives. These drivers not only ensure that products arrive on time and in perfect condition but also foster positive relationships with customers by providing excellent in-person support and addressing any questions or concerns at the point of delivery.

In addition to driving duties, Delivery Drivers are responsible for loading and securing cargo, performing daily vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate travel and cargo logs, and complying with all federal and state regulations. MedTrans emphasizes work-life balance, with local routes that allow drivers to be home daily, contributing to employee well-being and job satisfaction. The company provides new and updated trucks and equipment, ensuring a comfortable and safe working environment. MedTrans also offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.75 to $25.75, depending on experience and location, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes affordable medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, generous paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with company matching. Furthermore, MedTrans is committed to professional growth and development, fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where all employees feel valued and supported. Drivers are encouraged to cultivate their careers within a dynamic and growing organization dedicated to safety and excellence in service delivery.
