With a solid foundation anchored in pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, team collaboration, and customer service, US FOODS® provides an enriching workplace environment for individuals eager to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact in the foodservice distribution industry.

The US FOODS® Delivery Truck Driver plays a critical role in the company’s operations, acting as one of the key representatives who connect US FOODS® with its customers. This role involves delivering a variety of products, including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies, to designated drop-off locations efficiently and safely. Delivery Truck Drivers at US FOODS® start with a base hourly wage of $32.71, transitioning to a compensation structure based on miles, cases, and stops, with hourly pay maintained during any downtime. Drivers mainly work local routes, ensuring they are home every night, and follow a Sunday-to-Friday schedule with split shifts and nighttime dispatch hours from 8:00 PM to midnight.

In addition to delivering orders punctually to maintain productivity, drivers are responsible for unloading products with a hand truck, managing manual heavy lifting up to 80 pounds, and providing excellent customer service by verifying deliveries and collecting payments when needed. The position requires resilience to perform deliveries under inclement weather conditions and the agility to make frequent stops throughout each shift. Paid training and overtime are provided, alongside service recognition and rewards, complemented by strong leadership support. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for driving, customer service, and working within a supportive team environment. US FOODS® emphasizes safety, compliance, and professionalism, requiring all drivers to hold a valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements and to meet federal and state DOT qualifications, including a satisfactory driving record and passing a DOT physical examination.

Joining US FOODS® as a Delivery Truck Driver means becoming part of a reputable organization dedicated to your professional growth and success. The company offers comprehensive benefits and a positive work culture where your contributions are valued and your career advancement is supported. Whether you are new to the industry with some commercial driving experience or have extensive experience within food and beverage delivery, US FOODS® welcomes you to take on this rewarding role and be a vital part of delivering quality food products to customers every day.
