The role being offered is for a Delivery Driver who will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to LKQ customers. The position is hourly paid at $20.00 per hour and comes with an excellent benefits package. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles, loading and unloading merchandise, and maintaining accurate delivery records. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service during deliveries and collections, helping to sustain LKQ’s commitment to excellence. This role does not require prior degree credentials, making it accessible to a wide range of candidates who possess the right experience and a valid driver's license.

In this role, the driver will manually load the delivery truck and verify the contents against manifests and paperwork to ensure the correct parts are delivered and received. You will collect payments from customers when necessary and obtain signatures to confirm the accuracy and integrity of product delivery and returns. Safety and compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations are critical aspects of this position. Additionally, successful candidates will undergo annual training and adhere strictly to company policies and procedures.

Physical demands require you to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds and perform tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods, reflecting the hands-on nature of the job. You may be exposed to various work environments, including cramped spaces and variable weather conditions, requiring use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Travel may also be required on occasion, which could include overnight stays based on position requirements.

This position is ideal for individuals with over one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and those who are at least 21 years old. Candidates with additional experience in warehouse operations or delivery driving are preferred but not mandatory.
