This job opening is for a dynamic and dependable Delivery Driver and Production Prep Specialist to join the Ugly Bagel team. The employee will play a central part in ensuring that fresh bagels and other delectable products reach store locations punctually before their 7am opening. Beyond the critical delivery responsibilities, the successful candidate will also engage in kitchen production tasks, including mixing cream cheeses, preparing sauces and compound butters, and learning the craft of bagel rolling. This balance of duties supports the seamless connection between Ugly Bagel's centralized production kitchen and its retail stores.

The position is based at the UBDC Production Kitchen in Franklin, Tennessee, with daily delivery routes covering multiple stores. The schedule adheres to early mornings, with deliveries needing to be completed before store openings at 7am, followed by prep work through the morning and midday, with some flexibility based on production and catering requirements. Compensation begins at $16 per hour, dependent on experience, and the role offers an excellent opportunity to build practical bakery production skills and grow within the company as it expands.

Performing this role requires someone who is meticulous about following established procedures, observant of product quality, and proactive in communication with store managers and management. Duties include safe and careful handling of products to ensure they arrive in pristine condition, accurate verification of delivery orders, adherence to food safety and temperature regulations, and maintenance of vehicle cleanliness and readiness.
