Known for delivering fresh meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies, US Foods operates with efficiency and a commitment to excellence across a wide variety of foodservice operations. The Groveland Yard is one of their operational hubs where they seek to expand their dedicated team of delivery drivers who play an essential role in the company's success.
The role of a US Foods Delivery Truck Driver is vital to the company’s operations and reputation. These drivers are responsible for delivering an extensive range of foodservice products to customers’ drop-off locations while providing best-in-class customer service. Starting compensation is $25.00 per hour during training, and after training, drivers earn incentive pay and an expected range of $65,000 to $90,000 annually based on experience and location. Most drivers work a standard 5-day or 4-day workweek, operating locally and returning home each night. Drivers have a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, paid training, and paid overtime. This role demands a strong work ethic, reliability, and a customer-focused mindset as drivers maintain the integrity of deliveries and develop trusting relationships with customers. Physical demands include frequent heavy lifting of up to 80 pounds and working in various weather conditions. Drivers will also be required to handle payments when necessary.
